Approaching the traffic lights at the junction of Squires Gate lane Amy Johnson way and St Annes road heading in a westerly direction. As I slowing down for the lights was overtaken too closely by a white Renault traffic van reg ML08LFZ the van the van stopped a good distance from the white line. I completed my slowing down manoeuvre and positioned myself in front of the van in the space left. When the lights changed to green I proceeded forward in the correct manner as the van came to overtake me the driver swerved the van towards me forcing me to take evasive action in order not to be knocked off my bike. The van then indicated right when into the outside lane and into a right turn filter lane some 30 meters down the road, before turning right. Took the same route and caught the van up but the driver or his passengers refused to speak or apologise for try to run me of the road.
